Head of Software Development - Life Science (d/f/m) Do you enjoy working in a highly innovative environment? YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cross-site technological software development activities Lead an organization of 60 people, ensuring their engagement and development Provide project content, timelines, financial planning, and resources via project management Ensure the development of software and system solutions within the scope of projects, considering current trends and customer requirements Define the strategic goals for your area of responsibility and ensure their execution Drive activities in line with future technology requirements and trends to secure our development capabilities Ensure the support of adjacent functions regarding our product and technology development OUR EXPECTATIONS You have a technical or scientific degree alongside numerous years of experience in software development, project work as well as people management You have the ability to lead and motivate your team and you are experienced in managing managers You have a very good understanding of software development for complex scientific instruments including programming and system design You are customer orientated, possess good communication skills and a good understanding of the business contexts You are fluent in English with a good understandoject management Ensure the development of software and system solutions within the scope of projects, considering current trends and customer requirements Define the strategic goals for your area of responsibility and ensure their execution Drive activities in line with future technology requirements and trends to secure our development capabilities Ensure the support of adjacent functions regarding our product and technology development OUR EXPECTATIONS You have a technical or scientific degree alongside numerous years of experience in software development, project work as well as people management You have the ability to lead and motivate your team and you are experienced in managing managers You have a very good understanding of software development for complex scientific instruments including programming and system design You are customer orientated, possess good communication skills and a good understanding of the business contexts You are fluent in English with a good understanding of German WHAT WE OFFER An attractive salary and pension package A wide range of (virtual) training opportunities to grow skills in a huge variety of fields: e.
